Learn Norwegian online
A clear path to learn Norwegian online with real dialogues, weekly videos, daily worksheets, and a free start — taught by Erlend at Way2Norway.
Learning Norwegian online works best when you hear the language as Norwegians actually use it — not only as isolated vocabulary lists. Way2Norway is built around that idea: weekly video lessons with dual Norwegian and English subtitles, daily worksheets that keep you accountable, and podcasts with transcripts so you can connect sound to meaning. You study from A1 through B2 in one membership, on your own schedule, in the browser.
Start free at https://app.way2norway.com/register without a payment card. When the method clicks, unlock full access from 109 kr/month on the annual plan (or 130 kr/month). More than 400 community members and 4,840+ YouTube subscribers already practise with this style of content.
What you practise each week
A typical week mixes listening, reading, and light production. You watch a real-dialogue video, notice phrases and culture notes, complete short worksheets, and return to podcasts when you want more audio. The goal is comfortable understanding first — then speaking confidence follows. If you are brand new, begin with the beginners guide. If you already understand some Norwegian, jump to levels A1–B2 to place yourself.
Online course vs private tutor
Way2Norway is a membership with structured media and exercises — not a marketplace for booking live tutors. Choose it when you want high-quality Norwegian input and practice materials from a named teacher. Choose a 1:1 platform when you specifically need live conversation slots. Many learners combine both; you do not have to.
