Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and Way2Norway AS (“Way2Norway”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account, accessing the Service, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Way2Norway provides Norwegian language learning content and tools, including video lessons, worksheets, exercises, and related materials via way2norway.com and app.way2norway.com (the “Service”).

Some content is available without a paid membership. Full access to member content requires an active subscription.

Renow AS assists with technical operation of the Service but is not a party to your membership contract with Way2Norway AS.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract under applicable law, or have consent from a parent or guardian where required. If you are under 16, you may use the Service only with appropriate parental or guardian consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or abuse risk.

Paid memberships are billed through our payment provider according to the plan you select (for example monthly). Prices and plan availability are shown at checkout and may change for future billing periods.

By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel through the account/billing flows we provide or via the payment provider’s customer portal where available. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Except where required by mandatory consumer law, fees already paid for a billing period are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us promptly at the email below.

We may change membership features or pricing with reasonable notice for ongoing subscriptions. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, publicly redistribute, or commercially exploit member content without our written permission.
• Copy course materials beyond personal learning use, or scrape or bulk-download content.
• Attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the Service, or misuse another user’s account.
• Upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive material through any contact channels we provide.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

All content, branding, software, and materials in the Service are owned by Way2Norway or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access member content for your own learning while your account and membership (where required) remain valid. No other rights are granted.

The Service may link to or embed third-party services (such as video embeds or payment checkout). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices outside our reasonable control.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Learning outcomes vary; we do not guarantee specific language progress, exam results, or uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Way2Norway AS and its partners (including Renow AS) are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the membership in the twelve (12) months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where mandatory law requires a different process.

You may stop using the Service and cancel a paid membership at any time as described above. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Norway have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may have mandatory rights to bring claims in their country of residence where applicable law so requires.
